love the piece you wrote about your dad... made me remember mine in a lot of ways. it's a beautiful tribute — and i love how it remembers him in life and not in death. sometimes i forget to do that.

I think that's a great idea. I only wish I had the guts to try it myself. It would probably go over well here in the Portland area.
