Transcending stress

The transcendentalists had it right: nature is the true chapel.

In a continuing effort to suck the last drops of juice out of summer, here's where we spent our day. The oxygen from the redwoods and the duff beneath our feet were the greatest gifts of the day.

Oh yeah, and so were the pints and pub food following the hike.

Love your redwoods pic, I remember seeing them when we were there. How small we feel to such beautiful giants. We even brought back some seeds, but never planted them! I love your otter picture too!

Jo, My father planted redwoods near our house and they grew like crazy. You are a nature lover like me. Yay!
